 A Message from the Chairman

May I on behalf of the Flower Show Committee express our sincere thanks for your support for the 2008 Show. Bearing in mind the weather problems that beset the 2006 and 2007 Shows the continuing interest and support was extremely encouraging.

A review of the schedule has taken place with changes in the Domestic, Floral Art and Photography sections. The Children's group 12-15 years of age has been dropped following several years of insufficient interest. These changes have been made to to help maintain interest and incorporate suggestions from exhibitors.

New entertainments are being planned for this year's show. These will be announced once finalised.

Please tell your friends and in particular newcomers to the village about this unique event. The main object of the your committee is to continue to provide a traditional day of entertainment. The marquees will house your exhibits as outlined in the schedule. Should you not have exhibited before please take time to look through the schedule, we are sure that both children and adults will find something of interest.

Thank you for your support, and the committee look forward to seeing you and hopefully your exhibits on Saturday 25th July 2009.
